    Virtual Walking Club

    I am excited to announce our first ever virtual walking club! Whether you’re looking for accountability to stay active during these colder months, looking to start your exercise journey, or just enjoy walking – then this club is for you!   The walking club is open for ALL employees to join, not just those who are eligible for the wellness program. However, wellness program participants/those who are eligible for the wellness program WILL earn points towards the wellness program for their participation.     15 Minute Fitness Challenge

    During the cooler months, get inspired by football games! We challenge you to do a quarter’s worth (15 minutes) of exercise every day for four weeks. During a football game, there’s usually 60 minutes of game play, divided up into four quarters of 15 minutes each. We challenge you to exercise for one “quarter” (15 minutes) every day for 4 weeks. Over the course of the 4 weeks, you’ll have exercised enough to have played 6 games of football! Don’t worry, you can do whatever exercise you choose—you don’t have to play football—just make sure to track your workouts using your Time Exercised tracker on your Health Advocate portal! All…

    YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program

    I have been contacted by the Bradford County Branch YMCA (Towanda) asking to please share information on their upcoming Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP). Please see info below along with the attached flyer. The YMCA is currently forming a group for our Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP). DPP is a program created by the CDC and funded through the American Lung Association intended for pre-diabetic adults and will give guidance in the areas of diet and exercise.
